Target Shoots
Shooting Days
Generally we can shoot any day. Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays are reserved as "target days" with rounds shot on Weds and
Sats chosen on the day by those archers shooting. Currently, Sunday shooting is as per the published shooting programme.
The designated round includes any other rounds of the same dozens pattern. So for example a York round includes a Hereford,
and the various Bristol rounds since they are all of the same pattern but with a wide variety of distances.
This has the benefit of providing rounds suitable for any ability, particularly newer archers unable to reach the longer
distances accurately. On the other hand, it synchronises breaks needed to change distance, thus saving time.
