Club Shooting

The Club shooting programme is published half-yearly. That is: a summer outdoor programme and a winter (partly indoor) programme.

In the Summer we shoot mainly a variety of outdoor Target rounds- GNAS and FITA. In addition we shoot Field Rounds near Five Ashes - a site about 18 miles north of Eastbourne. We also shoot occasional Clout rounds.

In winter we shoot indoors fortnightly at a local sports centre. In the intervening weeks we shoot a Frostbite (3 dozen at 30m) or a Snowflake (3 dozen at 50m).

We take part in various leagues. In summer we shoot in the Albion League against other Sussex clubs and also in the Selby Postal League for the Recurve, Compound and Longbow disciplines. In winter we shoot in the Frostbite League and the Indoor Postal League.

Our juniors have their own designated club with some time allocated purely for their needs. However they also shoot alongside their fellow senior club-mates.
