Based at the Langney Sports Club, Eastbourne, East Sussex we have the benefit of a dedicated archery ground and the use of the sports club facilities.

We are mainly a target club but shoot a field round once a month and an occasional clout.

If you are hoping to take up archery as a sport you will need a beginners course so look through the various pages under the Information button.

If you are an established archer looking for a club in the area first browse through the site and then contact the Club Secretary.

2nd Eastbourne Double Rose & UK Record Status - July 28th and 29th 2012

Whilst Eastbourne didn't live up to its "Sunshine Coast" label the forecasted rain did not materialise and allowed another successful year. Three National Records, Ten County Records, Nineteen Rose Awards and Six and Three Gold Ends both at the longer distance, all subject to ratification.

Target archery is the most popular form of archery, in which archers shoot at stationary circular targets at varying distances.

Field archery involves shooting at targets of varying (and often unmarked) distance, often in woodland and rough terrain.

Clout is a form of archery in which archers shoot arrows at a flag (known as "the Clout") from a relatively long distance and score points depending on how close each arrow lands to the flag.
